We are a non governmental help organization that offers assistance to the people of Guatemala who have endured over 36 years a civil war.
We grouped with the intention of transmitting hope and courage to the Guatemalan children that had lost their parents during the civil war and nowadays are traumatized and reduced to poverty.
The purpose of our association is not to interfere in the Guatemalan civil war. We are just an association willing to offer solidarity.
Signing the peace, Guatemala put an end to the 36 years of civil war on December 29th, 1996.
Immediately after, on January 15th, 1997, thanks to the promotion action of Ms. Yoko Ito, the organization was founded by its president, Mr. Takeshi Sugiyama and the honourable president Mr. Takayoshi Sakuma (nowadays mayor of the city of Ichibarashi in the prefecture of Chiba).
On January of the present year, 2008, the organization already has 300 members in Japan, plus 30 members of other countries. |

Assistance was offered to the evacuees in a school after suffering damages because of the ÅgMitchÅh hurricane. |
| 2001 |
A contribution of 1000 dollars to the Faces Foundation (support to young people with mental retardation). |
| 2002 |
Meeting with ÅgConaviguaÅh, an organization of the widows who lost their husbands during the war. They were offered a contribution of 360 dollars. |
| 2007 |
Project for the building of a school. |
| 2008 |
|
Start the building of the school (Aldea Chiul, Departamento de Quiche, Guatemala).

|
Casablanca is willing to incorporate new members to the organization. All those no Japanese members should pay a fee of 10 dollars a year.
